There’s less than a month left before the Leicester Writes Short Story Prize 2021 deadline. Regular readers of this blog my remember that my story ‘Dissolution’ won last year’s prize. I am thrilled to say that I am on the judging panel for the prize this year.

The prize is looking for new and original fiction under 3,500 words. Stories can be any length (up to the 3,500 word limit) style, or subject. There is no set theme. The entry fee is £5 per story. Max three entries per person. This year’s prize fund has been increased to £225. A longlist of up to 20 stories will be published in the annual Leicester Writes Short Story Prize anthology.
