Calling all writers, the Writing East Midlands Writers’ Conference is fast approaching.

From the WEM website:

‘The Writers’ Conference is back in April 2021, offering writers all over the country access to leading professionals from the industry across 4 days of inspiration, networking and practical guidance for writers – all online. The 2021 event will take place digitally from 8th to 11th April 2021, and will feature 19 workshops, panels and talks with industry professionals, writers, makers and publishers. Through digital delivery, this years’ conference will be the most accessible ever, with all content available from the comfort of your own home, and the option to re-watch events through our ‘replay’ sessions after the conference dates (for a limited time).  So you don’t need to miss a thing.’

Since my arrival in Lincolnshire seven years ago, Writing East Midlands has been an invaluable source of support and information for me as a writer. The Writers Conference has been a highlight of every year I have been able to attend. As such, I am absolutely thrilled to be part of proceedings this year, as one of the panellists on The Long and Short of It: Writing Short Stories panel. I absolutely cannot wait to talk all things short stories with Giselle Leeb, Shreya Sen-Handley, and chair Alex Davis.

The Long and Short of It: Writing Short Stories panel takes place on Thursday 8th April between 12-1pm. Over the fours days of the conference there are a whole host of amazing events and the full conference programme is now available to downloaded here. Or flick through the interactive programme on the conference webpage and explore this year’s four day online event. Hopefully see you there.
