Hi Dan. I always keep an eye on your blog, forever impressed that you manage to keep across so many things. Anyway I had to comment this time as it’s a big month for you with the imminent publication. I have pre-ordered a copy and look forward to seeing your story in such fine company, and deservedly so. I’m working on a short story alongside the novel, to try to avoid getting bogged down. If I can get it up to a decent standard I might submit it somewhere over the summer months. Enjoy Arvon over the easter break; I’m wildly jealous but hoping my time will come! Speak soon (virtually). Jan x
Hi Jan. Thanks for taking the time to read the blog and comment. Much appreciated. As is your preordering the collection. I am sure there will be plenty in there for you to enjoy. If you need a beta reader for your short story, email it in my direction and I’ll have a look.
I’m looking forward to the Arvon residential, getting quite impatient now. Hopefully you’ll be able to make the next one. Cheers, Dan.
Can I interview you on my blog re. being in this anthology & short stories in general, around publication time maybe? Email me 🙂
Nuala x
Sounds great. Email on its way.
This great news, Dan, and well deserved. I’ve also just read your Hands story which really stays with you – excellent stuff. Here’s to more success for you over the coming months, Kate x
Thanks for the kind words and taking the time to read Hands. Glad it struck a chord. Always a pleasure reading your stuff too Kate.
