Been sorting through my music after a busy couple of days writing for the Chinese Whisperings Yang Anthology. Finally got round to putting all my Unbelievable Truth albums and EPs onto iTunes. Listening to this stuff takes me right back to 2000 and seeing them Live @ the legendary Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms. Having just come out of two disastrous relationships, one after another, this spoke to my then twenty-something over-emotional mind in ways I can’t describe.
A truly great song from a truly great and sadly short- lived band. Thankfully Andy Yorke’s recent solo album is an Unbelievable Truth recording in all but name.

Ah yes, a great band. Thanks for the memories!
Oooh – I saw them at Ronnie Scott’s in Birmingham one year, way back now. Goodness knows whatever happened to my cd – maybe it’s time to have a look in the loft!
Are you on a break from the flash fiction at the mo? I always enjoy reading them!
Not on a break. I did one last week. Planning to post another tomorrow. If you click on the flash fiction or the fridayflash link in the menu bar at the top you’ll see all my recent stuff and oldies too. 🙂
Sorry if I came across as a dumbass! I’d just noticed a lot of reviews of things you’d been reading and must have missed some of the short stories!
I see you have posted one today. I found the premise of the two characters interesting, even though I winced at the dog mess motif (sorry, but I didn’t like it!).
Anyway, have a happy Easter!
Yeah, the Short Story Challenge was kind of taking over. I’m cutting back on those posts – just putting up posts as I complete collections on my way to 365 stories in 365 days.
Thanks for the interest in the short fiction. I certainly didn’t think you were being a dumbass. 🙂
